Cindy Needham, Superior Threads’ Educator, spoke at the local guild last evening. It was so refreshing to know that what I learned in graduate school 20 years ago is still true. Long staple cotton thread is still made with long staple cotton fibers. How refreshing in our fast paced world to know that some things are constant. I remember growing up when a chip meant a potato chip and computers filled entire rooms. And to run math programs we had to punch cards, lots of them, and then feed them like a deck of cards through the huge computer, hoping not one card was out of order. Now, I carry a computer in my purse or pocket. And they play games,,,,, in color!!!! But lush Egyptian cotton is still lush and beautiful. Some things should never change!!!!! I love being a quilter!!! And I really enjoy Superior Threads!!!
